If You Could Do Anything What Would You Do?

My Google photos ‘Rediscover this day’ notifications is the biggest joy and pain in the a**. Nothing like being stuck at a freezing train station after a long day at work and getting an update on where you were this time last year. I went to Sapa, Vietnam.

Nostalgia for my wanderlust. I am torn every single day when I press a snooze button between the idea of becoming a mummy, saving for a mortgage, getting a partner (in no particular order) and just dropping everything and being a warrior of light in foreign lands.

Anything is possible, they say.

I do believe that if you put your mind, soul, and a really hard work anything is possible. Even though the utopian life transformation can be deceiving, most of us cannot stop dreaming about it. Some take action.

Glad having learned it is not really where you are or what you have. The answer is.. I still do not have it.

One thing I know is that people do matter. There must be a reason why my students in Cambodia told me that if I went to their house they would need to stay in bed with me during the night. It is rude to leave a guest. There must be a reason why in places where they seem to have less they are more willing to share. Their smiles look more genuine. Are they less lonely?

Whether you want to act on that insane business idea, get a mortgage or feed your travel lust DO IT! And don’t forget the ones you love. You need someone to help you paint those beige walls or annoy with your travel pictures. Tough Questions
