Coffee Share

Nothing like starting a Saturday morning reasonably early. Made myself coffee. Finally, figured out how to use the Vietnamese coffee filter. Feeling like a grownup drinking coffee just as it is. No sugar, no milk.

I have always had a soft spot for strong minded people, who are able to articulate their thoughts and ideas even when faced with a conflict. You got to love the beauty of having an argument and finding out that you were wrong, learning something new and looking it up on Google.

8 am. Saturday morning. I found myself enjoying my coffee in a company of two men.  We tackled the subject of the urge to kill that some might possess.

I remember having a conversation about what matters in life with a wise lady in her 70s. She said that the reason men go to war is because they are not able to give birth, so they are always striving to prove something and weapons give them the validation.

I found it interesting that the two gentlemen I was talking to called the act of killing coming from pure evilness.

I held my ground like the fluffiest flower. I believe that everyone by nature is loving, giving and caring. If that is not the case, they might be hurting inside. I have met so many truly beautiful people that it is not easy to believe in any other way. I am not that good at dwelling on the past and focusing on the bad experiences I might have had.

The beautiful world thoughts were confronted with examples from one of gentlemen’s real life experiences. He pointed out the incidents of someone being shot next to him for no reason, a friend being stabbed just because of the upsetting remark. He assumed that I have lived my life in an environment where I have not been exposed to real life experiences. He warned me kindly that I should always be on a watch for the evil.

I like to watch people. Some of them have eyes that show zero joy, others have pain that you could fall into if you tried hard enough. Also, there are those, who look like they have had enough and it is just a matter of time when they will explode. I think these are the ones that could participate in massacre acts. I always feel like approaching and giving a hug, but I never do.

We should all be more loving instead of expecting someone to hurt us. Good vibes only.
